Broadmeadow is post-war brick and tile between the racecourse and the rail line, with unit blocks near the interchange and trade units along the industrial end. Most of the wiring problems here come down to age.
At a Broadmeadow home the round fluorescent globe had failed and so had the switch that controlled it. It was not a common globe, so we went and got one to suit, fitted a new switch and left the light working.
