Tenambit is a mix of older brick homes and newer estate houses, and a lot of them are rented. Small faults that stop a household working are most of what we see.
An old front porch light on a Tenambit rental had broken. We isolated the circuit, took the old fitting away and installed an LED oyster, tested it and sent the before and after photos through with the Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW).

At one Tenambit home we measured voltage drop under load and tested the earthing. The neutral was sound, and the flicker came from interference on the supply reaching an LED fan light, so the fitting needed changing, not the wiring.

The over temperature reset had tripped on a Tenambit hot water system. The element tested fine, but the wrong thermostat had been fitted, so we supplied the correct one and set the timer back to the right hours.

Usually the batten holder itself is worn or the fitting runs hot. At one Tenambit rental we replaced the batten holder and fitted an LED globe, which ended the cycle.
That part is network work, so we arrange it through an accredited ASP (Accredited Service Provider) and handle everything on your side of the meter ourselves.
